I found this satirical poster on the website http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/images/bliraqsuvjuice.htm. It is meant to portray a poster meant to support the war on Iraq. This poster shows that people should support the war because when Iraq is conquered, fuel for their gas guzzling SUV's will be cheaper, making life easier for them. This posters hidden meaning, though, is that former President Bush declared war only on Iraq for the sole purpose of controlling an oil source which would lead to more money and control for the United States. The poster also portrays the way Iraq is being left. It describes Iraq as a bombed-out, Godless land. This poster was most likely made in the very early stages of the war.
